Prime and protect against contamination

Foot valves are non-return valves. They are mounted at the end of the suction line to protect against contamination and backflow.

When mounting, make sure that the foot valve is placed at a sufficient distance from the pump foot and the lowest suction water level.

Important: Foot valves are not absolutely leak-tight shut-off devices!
